What is MultiRoute?
MultiRoute is an Android field-sales application that puts the entire rep workflow β€” orders, deliveries, collections, payments, surveys, and end-of-day settlement β€” on a single handheld device. It works fully offline: work is saved on the device, and the rep syncs by tapping Sync, sending everything to the MultiRoute web backend, which relays it to the ERP through the MultiRoute Connector. The app adapts to three operation modes (Pre-Sales, Delivery, Route) to match how a company's field sales actually run.

Full feature scope
πŸ›’
Order & Invoice Management
Pre-sales, invoices, returns, pickups
β€Ί
  • Four transaction types on the same flow: new order, invoice, return, and product pickup
  • Template-based orders β€” pre-load standard products and quantities for repeat customers
  • Promotion engine supports 6 types: fixed amount off, percentage discount, fixed price, free product, fine-grain % discount, and payment term change
  • Promotions can be auto-applied (triggers silently when conditions are met) or manual (rep selects from a promo list during the order)
  • Up to 3 customer price break tiers
  • Credit limit check with optional supervisor password override
  • Configurable rule: whether a rep can have more than one open order at the same time
  • Customer signature captured on-screen at order completion
  • Printing support: Zebra Bluetooth printer, PDF, or plain text over network
πŸ“¦
Delivery (Proof of Delivery)
Direct store delivery with signed confirmation
β€Ί
  • Delivery can be created from an existing invoice, a template, or built on-device
  • Three delivery types: standard, bulk quantity, and serial/lot number tracked
  • Partial delivery supported β€” rep adjusts quantities per line item
  • Returns can be processed within the delivery flow
  • Customer signature captured as proof of delivery, permanently attached to the record
  • GPS timestamp and location recorded for each delivery stop
πŸ“‹ Voiding a completed delivery is only possible before it is synced, and only when the customer's payment terms are not set to C.O.D. C.O.D. customers require a data correction to unlock void.
πŸ’°
Collections, Payments & Deposits
β€Ί
  • Collections show open invoices with aging buckets so the rep sees what is most overdue
  • Three payment methods: Cash, Check, and Certified Check β€” customer-level restrictions can limit which methods a rep may use
  • Customer signature captured on payment confirmation
  • Bounced check tracking linked to customer AR
  • Deposit module: bundles collected cash and checks into a bank deposit slip with optional photo evidence
  • End-of-day settlement reconciles total collected vs. total deposited per rep
πŸ“
Surveys & Questionnaires
β€Ί
15 question types available:
  • Single choice and multiple choice
  • Yes / No
  • Free text and comments
  • Star rating (1 to 5)
  • Date picker
  • Photo capture
  • Signature
  • Product selection from catalog
  • Numeric input
Surveys can be assigned to a specific customer (auto-appears on visit), to a salesperson, or globally. Answers and photos sync back to the office with the next data upload.

No signal? No problem. The rep works exactly the same way β€” all work is saved on the device. The moment they get signal again, everything syncs automatically. Nothing is ever lost.
When does sync happen?
πŸŒ… Start of day Rep downloads fresh customer & product data before leaving.
πŸ”„ During the route Rep can sync any time they have signal β€” updates go to the office instantly.
πŸŒ™ End of day Final sync after settlement sends the complete day's work to the office.
